Preach me no morality Speak me of no virtue For I have discarded And bade them adieu For my sake, Lie to me, will you? For what is truth And what makes a lie If not a construct mere A mix-match of words Seeking truth frees your soul But when reality is a burden heavy Truth like shards break you whole It is as good as wounds by a sword I am not avoidant Neither my eyes look the other way Of what lies on the other end I am aware In deep waters I see a reflection clear But until we reach there Together, let's row this boat And just pretend that It is not beyond repair.
