List Of Limericks

1. A GIRL AND A CAT

A girl once brought home a cat

Showed some love and tagged her pet

All day long she meowed and purr 

Had olive eyes and soft was her fur

Sitting alongside they munched and ate until they both turned fat. 

2. LITTLE GRAY BRAIN

How weird is our little gray brain

Rest of body it does maintain and train

Solves with ease tricky equations

Has answers for all complex situations

Yet a tiny thought causes too much strain

3. THE MATHS TEACHER

One math teacher named Nicholas

To his students taught calculus

Clueless kids stared and cried

In exam paper, their marks have dried

Apparently his teaching wasn't fabulous.

4. DISCOVERING LIMERICKS

A girl once discovered limericks

Soon enough learnt it's patterns and tricks

Enjoying the fun process

She began writing in excess

And of rhyming words she made careful picks.

5. ABOUT AMRITA

There was a girl named Amrita

Alas she couldn't run like a cheetah

As for her looks she was quite chubby

Introverted she was and far from clubby

Yet upon coming across, with a smile she'll greet'ya.

(Had hard time rhyming with my name) 

6. RAINY MORNING

In sound sleep was Mr Strane

As morning marked with pouring rain

Set alarm was put to snooze

In a hurry, misplaced his shoes

Hence he got late and missed the train.

Note: A limerick is funny/light hearted poem consisting of 5 lines and rhyme pattern of 1-2-5 and 3-4.
