The tiny droplets of rain are unhackneyed
The drizzle today smells like salvation and not melancholy
In the falling rain, I am learning to grow again
I am looking up to the infinity
And thank God for His grace and blessing
The skies aren’t crying today
The thunder and lightning aren’t scary today
Nor did I plugin to blues or lament
Neither did I miss my bygone lovers
Nor do I nag about the water logging in my city
Or my favorite pair of sneakers getting spoilt in the mud
But I float my colorful paper boats down the ally
My sneakers are wet, my fingers clinging to the umbrella
I am wearing my best dress
I finally breathe Ecstacy
For rain is nothing but God’s grace and blessing
