I get up early, do the necessities, get dressed and rush to catch the 5th train which goes into the city. He always boards at the 4th station from mine. From the first day that I saw him, he has become an essential part of my survival. I always try to get a seat from where I can catch a glimpse of him as soon as the train enters his station. His presence gives me the exihilaration that not even a roller coaster ride can. And I know that he knows that I am always eager to see him. As soon as he is inside, he gives me a bright smile. Then he dillies here, dallies there, stops here and walks there. He likes to play with my anxiety. I sit and slyly watch, my heart rate increasing with every passing minute. At last he is near enough that I can coyly look up and he in his captivating voice asks me the words that are honey to my ears, "Madame, aaj bhi 5rs. wali masala chai?"
