It's Summer again,
the curtain fluttered smoothly to regain.
Locking the musings in my mind
I want the rays to touch me,
but don’t want to let him in
and shoot me the sweat.
Finally the Winter showed up,
the Sun seems equanimous today.
Assembling the courage I let the rays in ,
to wear the gleam on my skin.
I realized what a big mistake I did,
the heartless UV rays crashed the shore of my skin.
It left me enough tears to drown;
duressed my skin to crack on its own.
Just for a smile I lost my shine,
Found myself trapped again.
Enduring the pain,
I cursed him to faint.
As the days passed I healed my blaze,
like the snow he melted my distress.
How fool I was right? Blaming him for his blast,
It was me unprepared for the rust.
From now I'm not afraid to fall,
but ready to rise above all.
