As the brisk zephyr benignly caresses my dermis
And the scent of caramel lingers hither and thither,
I gaze at the beauteous misty sky of Autumn.
I look about and espy Autumn mildly disrobing the trees
And they, in their turn, smother their undraped selves with a serape of virescent leaves.
Autumn delineates that all comes to an inevitable epilogue, just as the torrid summer, that endings too can be bewitching.
It elicits from me the recollection of all that I can never have but only love from remoteness.
They clepe it "The Fall"
And I ineluctably fall for it.
