KAVITA RATNA was born into and nurtured by literature and theatre in her hometown Mysore. She thinks in Kannada and writes in English. She lives in Bengaluru now with her parents, husband, daughter and memories of her son. She is a child rights activist. During the past three decades, professionally, she has directed several films and published articles. This, however, is her first poetry collection.
